Not all thoughts get heard, some are either spoken in hushed tones or not at all. Such are the thoughts that end up being scribbled on paper and left to dust but these are the ones that give meaning to our lives.

How much scared a person must feel to never let go, to never lose control on oneself, to never be able to relax? There must be too many secrets buried inside of his soul for him to never feel free.
I have always wondered, is it cowardly to commit suicide or a task of a strong man? If I ever get too frustrated and lose my will to live, I still don’t think I have it in me to end my own life. But that is just what I think, I don’t really know. The people who take their own lives must be in such a mess to not find any other way but to do it, they must be so much pain that the only way to end it involves ending their lives. Or do they feel fulfilled and complete. I wonder has anyone ever taken their own life because they felt content and lost their will to live so as to prevent anything from ruining it. I have never heard of a happy man taking his own life but I do wonder that sometimes.
How much does it take for a man to lose his will to live? Why in that moment they can’t remember that they can turn things around by sticking around and not by losing the only thing that they really own, their lives, their mind, their body? I wonder what thoughts cross a person’s head right before they commit this daunting task? Do they think about their loved ones or their minds are empty, are they calm that their suffering is about to end or are they sad?
Come to think of it, do we ever really own anything that we are so sad on losing it? Through all the hard work and sweat whatever we earn, do we own that or through all that all we learn is endurance and gain knowledge. But then we do need and crave for materialistic things. I am always torn between what and how much is right or wrong? We are such blissfully ignorant people, blindly following the crowd.
I always thought that committing suicide is cowardly and it takes courage to stay and make things right but then over the years I have understood that one can never know how much a person must have endured before taking such a step. I, now, know that there is no right or wrong when it comes to Mental Health.
I sit here today thinking about all this because there has been a time when I had issues with my mental health and I had to deal with all of it myself. No one around me understood why I laughed or talked or even smiled less that I used to because in our house holds mental health is not given its due importance. I read self-help books, wrote everything that crossed my mind and kept myself occupied in order to recover from my slumber.
Life is given to us once. We are lucky to be born so losing your self-worth because of what someone else said or did is injustice to yourself and no one else. Life is about loving and spreading love and the biggest of all is self-love. It is about kindness and compassion and what comes first is being kind to yourself. All the love and happiness that we often seek in other people is actually inside of us, we just have to look for it.
It is so important to spread awareness about mental health so that it is given its due importance and so many lives can be saved. The real problem is that people these days have lost the ability to really listen or have a real conversation and that is what a mental health patient really looks for, someone to listen, someone who understands.
So, let’s lend our ears to our loved ones and try to understand where they are coming from. Let’s bring ‘empathy’ back. I wish one day I can play an active role in the field of mental health awareness. But till then, if this post helps even one soul, I shall be more that happy. If you are reading this and you can relate to any of it, I want you to know that you are not alone in this. Reach out to your loved one and you shall get all the help you need.
Unspoken words, repressed feelings. Invisible existence, suppressed pain. Scared love, distrusting people. Sinking heart and sleepless nights. Everything damaged can be repaired, even people. Everything lost can be found, even yourself. One day who is invisible shall be seen. One day who is scared shall be brave. One day who is lost shall be found within. And then life will happen ! And then love will blossom !

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
